Position Overview: The Financial Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of North Iowa Community Action Organization (NICAO) programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and analyzing projected program expenses
• Assist with grant applications, amendments, and compliance requirements
• Assist with monthly payroll processes (journal entries, benefit payments, etc.)
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and excel spreadsheets
• Assist with annual audits and work collaboratively within the fiscal department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)
• Knowledge of fund accounting (preferred)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
