Ellen Montgomery opened The Basic Birder Wild Bird Supply in 1995. She created her shop from her love of watching and feeding wild birds. She loves to share her knowledge and help people learn about and enjoy our birds. Her shop has North Iowa's largest supply of quality bird feeding supplies. She also has a huge selection of diverse and colorful yard and garden art to brighten people's lives..
