Position Overview:

As a Teacher Associate, you will support the Lead Teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your role will be instrumental in helping children reach important developmental milestones and prepare them for future success.

Responsibilities:

  • You will assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's developmental progress.
  • You will create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • You will guide and interact with children to encourage social and emotional growth.
  • You will support daily routines, such as meal times, naps, and structured play.
  • You will collaborate with families to build strong partnerships that encourage active engagement in their child’s education.
  • You will maintain accurate and timely documentation of each child’s development and behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in early childhood settings, is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a positive team member and contribute to a supportive classroom environment.
