Organization: Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce Our mission is simple but powerful: to promote progressive community and economic development to benefit Chamber members and the North Iowa region. We set ambitious goals—and we achieve them together. We’re seeking a Membership Director who’s passionate about people, organization, and impact. Relationship Building • Serve as a trusted advocate and “go-to” resource for Chamber members Membership Operations • Maintain and update the Chamber’s membership database with accuracy Teamwork & Administration • Assist with budgeting, monthly reporting, and financial processes • A natural relationship builder with a professional, approachable demeanor • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Salary range: $40,000–$60,000, with option for commission-based payPosition Opening: Membership Director

This position blends relationship-building with data precision and financial stewardship. You’ll be the connection point for Chamber members—ensuring they feel supported, informed, and engaged—while maintaining accurate membership and financial records.
You’ll work closely with the Chamber team to grow membership, coordinate sponsorships, and ensure that every member experience reflects our mission and values.Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate meaningful relationships that support retention and engagement
• Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver member events and networking opportunities
• Manage invoicing, receivables, and deposits
• Track renewals, sponsorships, and investments
• Identify opportunities to enhance the member experience
• Support grant applications and program administration
• Serve as staff liaison to the Chamber Ambassadors and North Iowa Builders Exchange
• Pitch in as needed—our team works collaboratively to make big things happenWhat We’re Looking For
• Detail-oriented and financially savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable with membership databases/CRM systems
• A proactive communicator who values teamwork and accountability
• Passionate about enhancing the North Iowa regionPreferred Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in membership management, sales, or nonprofit administrationCompensation & Benefits
