NIACC Foundation Administrative Assistant
BASIC FUNCTION: This position processes gifts, manages the receipting and acknowledgement process, and assists with the maintenance of the Institutional Advancement database and reports. This position also maintains confidential advancement records, conducts database queries, produces mailing lists, coordinates data entry processes, manages department mailings, and provides support for the Institutional Advancement team. Serves as primary support to the Foundation Board of Directors. START DATE: ASAP SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary of $18.32 per hour. Benefits package includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield major medical health insurance; eye care, dental, life and disability insurance; paid vacation and sick leave; a choice of IPERS or TIAA retirement plans, and a variety of additional optional benefits. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency required. Experience with Microsoft Office is essential. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills, high degree of diplomacy and confidentiality are required. Ability to work with interruptions and demonstrate well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail while remaining within targeted fixed deadlines. Occasional evening and minimal weekend work required to meet the needs of the Foundation Board and special fundraising events. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years of specialized education beyond high school or a minimum of five years applicable work experience. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
