Meet Author Liz Lidgett for a Book Signing

A very special evening of visual, literary, and culinary arts!

The Clear Lake Arts Center invites you to a special afternoon with Liz Lidgett, featuring an interior design experience, book signing, talk, and a specially catered social hour.

ARTS & LITERATURE: Liz will be signing copies of her new book Art for Everyone: How to Collect Art & Personalize Your Space on Any Budget. Whether you're a homeowner or renter, everyone wants their living space to feel like home, but decorating can often feel overwhelming and expensive. In Art for Everyone, gallery owner and art industry expert Liz Lidgett offers an inspiring, approachable guide that makes the art world accessible for both beginners and seasoned collectors.

There will be time for Q&A and discussion with Liz, along with other panelists Kimberlee Rocca -- whose reception will be held the evening prior on Sept 18 and art will be on exhibit through Oct 17 -- and Ciar Carnall, floral designer at The Red Geranium.

CULINARY ARTS: Chef Beto Omaña, a Le Cordon Bleu Grand Diplomé graduate specializing in Venezuelan, French, and global cuisine, has crafted an exclusive tasting menu that pairs locally sourced ingredients that showcase the incredible freshness and creativity of North Iowa farms. Guests will enjoy chef-created bites like beef curry empanadas, Vietnamese-style pork and vegetable fresh rolls, "Green Queen" creamy chicken salad sandwiches, and delightful little celebration cakes paired with craft brews, wine, and a signature cocktail made from spirits from our own local 173º Distillery.
