Join us for our fall Wellness Seminar: “Mental Health in the Workplace” from 1-3PM on Thursday, October 19 in the Anderson Event Room at the Commerce Center.

The seminar will cover mental health concerns, signs and symptoms, and guidance for helping others. Presenter Emily Blomme will also provide information and resources for employers and their employees.

Emily Blomme, Executive Director of Foundation 2 Crisis Services, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Much of her work has been in the area of crisis response and youth and family services. Emily serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of East Central Iowa, the Coalition for Children and Families in Iowa, and is a member of the Steering Committee for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. She is passionate about improving the quality of life in others and is a firm believer that all people are capable of change.
