Free Car Seat Safety Checks & Family Fun at Colwell Motors

Is your child's car seat installed right? Find out for free at Colwell Motors of Mason City.

Four certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) will check car seats one-on-one with parents and caregivers. They'll make sure the seat is installed correctly, fits the child's age and size, and that the harness is adjusted right, then walk parents through installing it themselves. Each inspection takes approximately 30 minutes, and appointments are available throughout the event.

Reserve a time at https://carseatcheck-beige.vercel.app/. Walk-ins are welcome too.

While parents get their seats checked, kids can enjoy face painting, a bouncy house and the Team of Legends superheroes. Families can also enter a drawing at the event for a free oil change or free detail. Please bring your car seat or seats.

Hosted by Colwell Motors of Mason City in partnership with Worth County Public Health, the Mason City Police Department and Butler County. Technician time is funded by the North Iowa Children's Alliance Board.
