Fall Puppet Show
Due to unforeseen circumstances Thursday’s puppet show has been changed from "Bremen Town Musicians" to "Uncle Rabbit’s Adventure".
The Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company will present three showings of “Uncle Rabbit’s Adventure” on Thurs., November 5, in the Salsbury Room at the MacNider Art Museum at 10 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm. All shows will be free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served. Doors will open for seating 15 minutes before each show. This free show is made possible by a grant from the Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation.
"Uncle Rabbit's Adventures" uses large, beautifully crafted hand puppets and lots of fun props to tell the story of a wealthy land-owning goat who doesnʼt want to share with his neighbors. Watch Tio Conejo and his wife Rosita tend to their chores, plant, harvest, and trick Señor Cabra (Mr. Goat) into sharing his agricultural wealth.
Please call 641-421-3666 to register groups of ten or more for the daytime shows. No registration is needed for the 6 pm show. Schools are eligible for a bus subsidy while funds last.
