Community Conversations: Pride In Place

Community Conversations are interactive and designed to bring people together, foster meaningful dialogue about the future of North Iowa, and to encourage actionable solutions to make the community a better place to live and work.

This session will take the Pride in Place community survey a step further and use the results to help craft a community culture statement. This survey was administered May-July to help us understand what makes Mason City special, what residents are proud of, and what could be improved. The responses and conversations at the event will help shape a culture statement, highlight community pride, and guide future growth initiatives. 

Along with this event, we're hosting a Pride in Place Photo Contest! Show us your favorite place in Mason City—whether it's a scenic spot, a beloved local landmark, a hidden gem, or somewhere that holds special meaning to you. The top 10 submitted photos will be displayed during the Community Conversations event. We can't wait to see Mason City through your eyes!
