The Community Health Center of Mason City opened its doors on October 1, 2018 offering medical, dental, and behavioral health services all under one roof. The health center, which did a complete renovation of the building located at 404 N Federal Ave near Fareway in Mason City, accepts insured, underinsured, and uninsured patients. We have a sliding-fee scale based on income and household size. In addition, we accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance.
While the Community Health Center of Mason City celebrates four years, its namesake Community Health Center of Fort Dodge has been in operation since 2006. “We have a long history of providing healthcare; We also staff a financial advocate to assist patients and non-patients with insurance.” Kruckenberg said.
In addition, Community Health Center of Fort Dodge has a satellite location in Dayton, Iowa. CHC of Mason City is a Federally Qualified Health Center.
