It's A Wonderful Life

Mason City Community Theatre will present “It’s A Wonderful Life” based on the beloved holiday classic film. It is the story of George Bailey, an Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty. A dubious guardian angel visits George on Christmas Eve to save him from despair by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born—that his has been, after all, a wonderful life.

This heartwarming, family-friendly production is sponsored by North Iowa Community Credit Union and directed by Allison Day assisted by Amber Lenius. “I am so honored to be directing this amazing show with such a talented group of actors from across North Iowa and Southern Minnesota” says Ms. Day. The cast includes: Jacob Gray, George Mortimer, Rachel Hall, John Henry, Frank Boyd, Anne Mason, Kasey Schlichte, Aaron Blick, Larry White, Andy Swyter, Matt Holub, Julio Tinajero, Phil Hanson, Connor Hanson, Jamie Tinajero, Brylee Ritter, and Eden Magsamen.

Performance are December 5-7 and 12-14 at 7:00 p.m. and December 8 and 15 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale beginning November 25 at the theater box office located at 215 S.
