Featured Speaker: Vikki Brown
Vikki Brown is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, whose childhood unfolded during the peak of the Civil Rights Movement.
As a young girl, she participated in the historic Children's Crusade, bearing witness to the courage and collective action of ordinary people working toward justice and equality.
Her life was also touched by the 1963 bombing of the 16th St. Baptist Church, in which a young neighborhood acquaintance was killed, an event that profoundly shaped her understanding of loss, resilience, and moral responsibility.
