Nate Boots @ Fat Hill Brewing
Nate Boots was born in Minneapolis and raised in a handful of small prairie towns in farming communities in southwestern Minnesota. He co-founded the alt-folk band The Porchlights and also Jim the Harpooner, who played sea chanties and Irish tunes. Currently, he performs solo or in ensemble fashion with The High Horses. He released solo albums in 2020 (WHEREVER YOU MAY ROAM) and 2022 (UPRIGHT DUST) that are available locally, at shows, or online. For a deeper dive check out www.nateboots.com.
Fat Hill Brewing is a locally owned/operated 7-barrel craft brewery that opened in Mason City in December 2016. The brewing facility and tap room sits in the long-vacant historic building at 17 N. Federal Avenue and features sixteen taps, space for 140 patrons, and a busy calendar full of live music and special events.
