DESCRIPTION:The State of North Iowa will be held on January 16\, 2025 at the Mason City High School Riverhawk Fieldhouse. This annual event complements the Vision North Iowa strategic planning efforts and is an opportunity to hear directly from city and county leadership from Mason City\, Clear Lake\, and Greater North Iowa as they highlight recent accomplishments\, outline future goals\, and offer ideas about current business and community issues. \n\n\n\nThis year's theme is "Growing our Future." The event will highlight efforts taking place to connect students with businesses in North Iowa. These unique partnerships in areas such as welding\, radiology\, child care\, and more provide students with a clear pathway to a successful career. For some\, this means they are workforce-ready when they graduate high school. Others may earn credits that apply directly into higher education. \n\n\n\nThe Chamber will also provide updates on its efforts to grow the future talent pool in the region through the This is North Iowa campaign\, developed in partnership with the North Iowa Corridor and Clear Lake Chamber and supported by the Iowa Economic Development Authority. \n\n\n\nTickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members and include a light breakfast prepared.
