SUMMARY:North Iowa Day at the Capitol
DESCRIPTION:Chamber member businesses and representatives are invited to join us for the 2023 North Iowa Day at the Capitol. The bus will leave the Chamber at 8:30AM and return around 3:30PM (a more definite return time will be provided when the agenda firms up). There is no cost to attend. Boxed lunches will be provided for the return trip home.\n\n\n\nWe have meeting commitments from Representatives Steckman and Latham and invitations extended to Representative Bloomindale and Senator Brown. In addition\, we are scheduling meetings with the Iowa Economic Development Authority and have asked for representatives to specifically discuss our Destination Iowa grants\, continued investment in placemaking\, and updates on child care access.\n\n\n\nIf you have questions about the trip or a specific issue you would like us to address\, please contact Colleen Frein at cfrein@masoncityia.com.
