Kurt literally grew up in the banking industry his father Bill\, led the bank for 20 years\, and the Herbrechtsmeyer family has been with First Security for over 92 years. After graduating from the University of Iowa he worked for Arthur Anderson & Company in Chicago and New York before returning to Iowa. Originally Kurt joined First Security as an Assistant Vice President in the Operations Department. In 1996 he worked as a Retail/Consumer Lender\, in 2000 he became a Retail Lender\, in 2004 he was named Chief Operating Officer\, and in January 2007 he was elected President & CEO.\n\n\n\nSteve Sukup\, President & CEO of Sukup Manufacturing\n\nSteve Sukup was appointed President & CEO of Sukup Manufacturing and served in his previous role of Vice-President & CFO since 1995. Sukup is the largest family owned and operated grain storage\, drying and handling equipment manufacturer. Steve has an Engineering degree from Iowa State University. Serving on the Iowa Legislature from 1995-2003 gave him a greater appreciation for rural Iowa. His priority now as President & CEO is to continually outperform their big corporate competitors by staying close to their own customers. This three-generation manufacturer holds over 80 patents and has been the recipient of 12 ASABE AE50 awards for innovation in agriculture.
