DESCRIPTION:The North Iowa Day on the Hill is fast approaching! On March 18\, a group of Chamber members and community partners will board a bus and travel to Des Moines to advocate on behalf of our region.\n\n\n\nWhy is this important? It's crucial for our region to have a presence at the Capitol. Too often\, the attention goes to larger cities in our state\, while more rural areas are left out of the conversation OR grouped as one entity with the same concerns.\n\n\n\nWhile many of the issues we face in North Iowa are similar to those faced by businesses and cities around the state\, there are important differences in the needs of our communities. We are also working on some exciting and unique projects that we want to showcase to our state leaders.\n\n\n\nWe plan to leave Mason City at 7:30AM and return by 4PM. The cost to attend is just $15 to cover the cost of lunch at the Capitol. I ask that you RSVP by March 28 to ensure we have a seat.\n\n\n\nI hope you will consider joining us for the Day on the Hill. It will be an informative day and an exciting opportunity for us to band together as a region.

LOCATION:Bus departs from the Mason City Municipal Airport at 7:30AM. Attendees may park on the south end of the airport parking lot.
