St. James Lutheran Church virtual worship

Our church council and pastors have made the difficult decision to cancel all activities at St. James through March 23. This includes meetings, meals, classes, and in-person worship. We will reassess the situation at the end of this week to see if more postponements are needed.

We are actively working on the best ways to have on-line worship services. At 6:30 Wednesday, we will have an on-line Holden Evening Prayer service and we will gather virtually for worship at 9:30 Sunday morning. We will bring that to you through Facebook and our website. Please be patient with us as we figure out the best ways to do that!

In the meantime, we are still the Church together. Check on one another through texts, calls, and e-mails. Ask the Church office for a list of homebound, sick, and nursing home members you could send a card to. And if you hear of ANY unmet needs in our community, please contact the pastors so we can find ways to help.

Thank you. Our prayers are with all of you as you manage school closings, cancellations, financial burdens, and loneliness or anxiety through this situation. Let us pray for and support one another as much as possible!

Please remember that the work of the Church continues. Consider signing up for on-line giving (which you can do through our website) or mailing your offerings to the Church through this time. We appreciate your support!
