Athletico Providing Patient Care

The health and safety of our patients is extremely important to us. Athletico is continuing to monitor the rapid developments related to COVID-19 and are taking this outbreak very seriously. Throughout this crisis, we have communicated with and followed the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”). Recently the CDC noted the healthcare service providers, like Athletico, are part of the nation’s critical infrastructure. Our profession plays a crucial role in the health of our society by providing an alternative treatment setting that helps prevent strain on our hospitals and emergency rooms during this critical time.

While our clinical locations remain open to continue care for those in need, these are the steps we’re taking to ensure a safe experience for both our patients and employees:

• Prior to receiving treatment, we will administer screening questions as well as offer to perform a temperature check using a no touch infrared thermometer. Patients or employees exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to stay home and to contact their physician.

• At this time, only essential family members or caregivers will be allowed to attend visits and will be confined to our waiting areas. We have suspended all visits from others, including any outside vendors, students and non-essential staff.

• Sanitation continues to be our top priority. We have re-emphasized the importance of keeping our facilities clean, practicing good hygiene and keeping our supply levels stocked.

• Starting today, March 23rd, we will implement physical and occupational therapy telehealth for current and new patients who prefer to remain at home for their treatment session. Visit: www.athletico.com/telehealth for more information.
