Economic Recovery Planner (Pandemic Recovery/Response/Resiliency Focus)
The North Iowa Area Council of Governments is seeking qualified applicants for an Economic Recovery Planner. Position will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to work with communities, local leaders, businesses, and volunteers on a variety of projects to help strengthen the regional economy and aid in recovery. Work may include conducting research, grant writing and administration, community meetings, program design, and, public outreach. Highly motivated individuals with at least a bachelor’s degree in community & regional planning, business administration, public administration, economics, business, finance, or a related field are encouraged to apply. Good computer, communication, and writing skills are required. The starting salary for the position is anticipated to be $32,000 – $60,000 (depending upon qualifications and experience). The position is covered under the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System along with an excellent benefit package.
