Community Development Planner (Housing Focus)
NIACOG is seeking a long-term employee to: prepare housing grant proposals, administer federal/state/local grants, maintain financial records, inspect homes for H2A program, and market programs. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, public speaking, and financial record keeping. Other helpful assets include familiarity with: mortgages, home repair methods, housing codes, other planning/grantsmanship areas, web page management, PowerPoint, GIS, and Publisher. The position requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience.
