MASON CITY BLACK BELT ACADEMY

 FOR SPECIAL WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR

The Mason City Community Policing Advisory Board has announced plans for a Women's Self-Defense Seminar event scheduled from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, April 14th, 2012, at the Mason City Black Belt Academy, 1323 No. Federal.   In acknowledgement that April is the Sexual Abuse Awareness Month, the Mason City Black Belt Academy will present an educational seminar.  This seminar will include tips and techniques to help keep you out of danger, and easy techniques to employ if you get into harm's way.  According to local owner and American Taekwondo Association Instructor Raul Carolus, education is the key to being safe.  The Community Policing Advisory Board's goal is to help promote a safer community. 

There will be refreshments and door prizes.
