Epiphany Parish Festival
Epiphany Parish, 302 Fifth Street SE, Mason City, will hold its annual Parish Festival on Sunday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mass in the Grass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Food will be available for eat-in or carry-out from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu: pork or chicken dinner, pie by the slice, beverage, root beer floats and more. Festival activities begin at 11 a.m. and include: kid’s games, laser tag, dunk tank, pig races, obstacle course, junk food walk, bingo, bags tournament, 5 card stud, silent auction, pie and quilt auction, raffle, bake sale, pie eating contest.
Live entertainment will be provided by Ruthless Ruth, aka Ruth Lapointe, and Memphis Jones. Ruthless Ruth is a high-energy singer-songwriter born and raised in Mason City, specializing in country and classic cover songs. She will perform at 11:15 a.m. Memphis Jones is here from Memphis, Tennessee where he is featured weekly at BB Kings. His collection of music includes Gospel, Rock and Roll, Memphis Soul and every other genre you can imagine. His show is fun, entertaining and family friendly for all audiences. Memphis Jones will perform from 12:30 p.m. to
1:15 p.m. and again at 2:45 p.m.
