78th North Iowa Band Festival Parade
The 2016 North Iowa Band Festival marks 78 years of celebrating the musical heritage of Mason City and native son Meredith Willson. The annual parade is the largest free marching band competition in the Midwest.

Location
The first 1.5 blocks of the parade will once again be a Candy Free Zone. This will include from the start of the parade (3rd St NE and N Pennsylvania Ave) to the south side of KIMT (half way between 1st St NE and 2nd St NE). This is the judging area for the high school marching bands. Candy WILL be allowed throughout the remainder of the parade.

Non-Profit: $20
Non-Chamber Members:

Clean Up Fee ($25)
A clean up fee is charged for all entries distributing candy, printed material, or any other type of handout. Items are NOT to be thrown into the street or crowd from any float or vehicle for the safety of children and spectators. All distributed items must have prior approval. Candy Distribution For the safety of the marching bands and the spectators, No candy may be thrown until after KIMT on the parade route. This is approximately 1.5 blocks from the beginning of the parade. This area has been designated for judging the high school marching bands.
Late Fee ($25)
Any entry received after May 13, 2016 will be assessed a late fee.
